A pro session guitarist and entertainer since the age of 17, TK brings decades of showmanship to the microphone, though he has to rein in his natural exuberance when recording a sleepy story.
His voice work goes back just as far. He started producing commercials in the early '80s and became a bit of a local celebrity in Vegas after an ad that featured him "wearing purple hair, lying on a conveyor belt, screaming about low prices." He has received 17 ADDY Awards for advertising excellence.
Of the stories he has narrated for Get Sleepy, his favorites include Touring an Old West Movie Set and The Sleepy History of the Pony Express. His all-time pick is An Evening on the Bayou: "Having spent lots of time in New Orleans and surrounding areas, I definitely identified with the Louisiana culture and the animal inhabitants I was describing in the story."
