Subscriptions and billing
How do I manage my Slumber subscription?
Slumber subscriptions are handled by the Apple App Store or Google Play Store, not by us — so you manage them from your device.
On iPhone or iPad: view, change, renew or cancel your subscription through Apple.
On Android: cancel your subscription through Google Play.
How do I request a refund?
Because Apple and Google handle the payment, refunds go through them.
Bought on an Apple device: request a refund from Apple.
Bought on an Android device: request a refund from Google Play.
I'm a subscriber, but the app is asking me to subscribe again.
On iPhone or iPad: check you're signed in with the same Apple ID you bought the subscription with, and that you're connected to the internet. Then in Slumber, tap the Profile tab, then Settings, then Restore Purchase. Wait about a minute and restart your phone.
On Android: make sure you're logged in to the Google account you bought the subscription with — here's how to switch accounts. Then reinstall Slumber from the Play Store, and if premium tracks are still locked, tap the Profile tab and then Restore Purchases.
One thing worth knowing: Apple and Google's billing systems aren't connected. A subscription bought on an Apple device works only on Apple devices, and the same goes for Android.

Playback and downloads
The narration isn't playing. What should I do?
Most Slumber episodes need to download before they'll play, so check you're connected to the internet and that Airplane mode is off.
Once the episode has fully downloaded, you can switch Airplane mode back on and it will play fine.

Can I use Slumber offline?
Yes — all Slumber content can be played offline, as long as it's already downloaded to your device. A downloaded episode shows a green download icon.
To download everything, or to choose what stays on your device, open Slumber and go to the Profile tab, then Settings, then Manage Storage on iOS — or the Profile tab, then Manage Storage on Android.
Can I manage my storage?
Yes. You can choose which episodes stay on your device, and download or delete everything at once.
On iPhone or iPad: Profile tab, then Settings, then Manage Storage.
On Android: Profile tab, then Manage Storage.
Is there a sleep timer?
Not as a dedicated timer, no — but you can get the same result. When you play a track, tap Background Effects and turn off both Loop Episode and Delayed Ending. The background sound will then stop once the story finishes rather than playing on.
You can also lock your screen while Slumber plays, so the display doesn't stay lit after the audio ends.
About the app
How does Slumber help me fall asleep?
Slumber's meditations, soundscapes and music are designed to quiet the mind and guide you gently to sleep, using techniques recommended by leading sleep organizations including the National Sleep Foundation.
You'll find ASMR, mindfulness, breath control, gratitude habituation, guided imagery and visualisation, Ericksonian hypnosis, progressive muscle relaxation, and nature sounds and calming melodies.
Is there something new to listen to each night?
Yes. New sleep stories and meditations are added every day, so there's always a fresh way to drift off.
