The stranger claims to be Aladdin's long-lost uncle, but he is really a sorcerer in disguise. With their help, Aladdin escapes the cave and slowly builds a new life for his mother and himself. He falls for a princess, and uses the lamp's power to win her hand and raise a palace to rival the sultan's own. But the sorcerer has not given up. He tracks down the lamp, steals it back, and carries off the princess and the palace with it. Aladdin must find a way to outwit him and set things right.
This is a rags-to-riches fantasy built on wishes, trickery, and second chances, full of genies, hidden treasure, and a hero who has to out-think an enemy with real magic on his side. It's a good fit for listeners who love old-world fairy tales, Arabian Nights stories, and adventures where cleverness matters more than strength.
